April 4th, 2022 7:45 pm Hatch End Bob Potter from Woking will present "Habitats Re-visited". Through his work, Bob travelled widely in Arabia and became interested in the fascinating succulents. Subsequently, he travelled widely across Africa to photograph succulents in habitat, including Madagascar. This presentation will review many of his past highlights. March 7th, 2022 7:45 pm Hatch End Hazel Taylor from Orpington (Chair of Bromley Branch) will present "Cacti and Succulents in North-eastern Mexico 2015 – Part 2". Please bring cacti and succulents for display in the four table show classes: Coryphantha or Thelocactus Group; Othonna or Pelargonium Group; any cactus; any succulent. February 7th, 2022 7:45 pm Hatch End At our first gathering for this year our chairman Derek Tribble will give a talk about "What's New with Gasterias". His lock-down project has been to help his South African friend, Ernst van Jaarveld, to write an updated book about these decorative compact succulents. He is going to tell us about that challenge, as well as reviewing the new discoveries, using Ernst van Jaarveld's great photos.
