Our members said they would like to learn more about cultivation  and so a 'Gardeners Question Time' style evening was agreed,  with a panel of experienced members to offer advice. Aug 4th, 2025   7:45 pm Hatch End Annual General Meeting  Our Harrow Branch has a long history going back to 1967. We have a large box forming an interesting archive of programmes, show schedules, photos and much more.  Some of these items will be displayed to illustrate our past activities and larger BCSS events. For the second half of the evening, Derek will present one of the late Dr Terry Smale's digital presentations: his 'Favourite Mexicans'.  Entrance is free this month, a raffle ticket is £1. As a nurseryman himself, Stuart regularly visits nurseries on the West Coast of the USA  and should bring a nice selection of plants for sale as usual from his Plant Life businesss. Alan will present a travelogue through Mexico with a group searching for cacti in their natural habitat: "Cacti of the Sierra Madre Oriental".  Entrance fee is £3, a raffle ticket is £1. Mar 3rd, 2025   7:45 pm Hatch End Derek Tribble will present the final part of the late 'Chris Moore's Stapeliads Updated'. The first part of his spectacular flower photos were well received last autumn.
